KENZO SS 2010

I like the neck details, having what looks like a fairly high neck top with a scarf and jewellery. And the strappy blue sandals aren't too shabby either, the way the straps fall makes it look as though the straps aren't too tight.

UNIQUE SHOES

I think these are meant to be available sometime this week at Topshop. Without a doubt, I have to get a pair. It's just such a fantastic combination of pastel hues, utilitarian strapping and hefty heel construction. Not to mention my recent obsession with socks and heels.

FOOTWEAR

On Monday I will be starting a new course. Footwear at TAFE. I am VERY excited and absolutely cant wait to start making.
A few persons of note that have completed this course are Phong Chi Lai and "Emma the Shoemaker".
As far as I know Phong Chi Lai completed the course in Adelaide, and Emma completed a similar course in Melbourne. Phong Chi Lai's work is available from The New Guard and Emma's is available on her website, emmatheshoemaker.com.

OHNE TITEL SS 2010

The shoes in this collection are fantastic, I can't seem to find any other images of them though. And again, a cut-out-ish blazer but with more draping. Not that fond of the slouchy pants though, my hips would detach from my spine and smack me in the face if I ever dared to wear those pants.

HEY MARGE

Completely thanks to a YOOX sale, I managed to be able to get these delicious Maison Martin Margiela beasts.

The half nude mesh, half weird metallic leather.
And the cork. I really like the cork.

BLACK SHOES #3

I bought another pair of black shoes... Well two more pairs in fact, but the other pair is with a cobbler, being altered. But here are these. From Zu.

BLACK SHOES #2

Bought these a week ago, from Wittner. Never thought I'd like shoes like these. But APPARENTLY I DO.

SIREN

Here are some shoes from Siren Autumn/Winter 09. They're pretty good, reasonable. The left ones right at the bottom remind me of a recent pair of Margiela's shoes, with one side open, one side closed. First ones are obviously Balmain influenced.
I really want some thigh high flat leather boots though. Anyone know if anywhere has nice ones?

CELINE

I'm not really the biggest fan of Celine but I do find these shoes pretty amazing. They're from the SS09 collection. I'd probably prefer them in a different colour, or without the pattern, but nonetheless they're completely awesome.

ONS-ADRES

These are some designs by Netherlands design duo Niels Van Eijk and Miriam Van Der Lubbe. The first is the "Poodle" chair, made of wood and covered in fake fur. I'd like to have a go at making my own I think.. The second are a pair of shoes made from... moulded moles. You can find more of their designs at www.ons-adres.nl.
Hah..I really like the shoes. PETA would hate me though.
It would proabably be fun if you had a pet cat, because it would smell the animal-ness of the shoes and try to eat them. My cat does that with any fur items.

PARANAIV

This is Norwegian Art Director, Are Sundnes' blog of inspirations and has a link to a portfolio. www.paranaiv.no. Here are some sample images to convince you to go and have a look at his collection of inspirations. I want Natalia Vodianova's shoes so bad. AH!
