VOGUE NIPPON MARCH 2010
A nice shot from Vogue Nippon March 2010. I think I like it because it is simultaneously subdued and untamed. Lovely.

Some images from Dazed&Confused Japan, February 2010. The photo of a spider on a photo is an interesting idea.
Written Afterwards is a Japanese label by Yoshikazu Yamagata. Written Afterwards is also responsible for one of the masks made for a Dazed&Confused shoot with Hedi Slimane. These images are from Written Afterwards' Collection #5 which has a very caveman aesthetic to it. It also reminds me of very basically represented Greek Gods. These aren't clothes that I would really be prepared to wear, however I do find the concept quite daring for a runway. Oh and they've done a great job with amping up the hair volume, it's like a frikkin condor's nest.
I have this watch. It's solar powered and batteryless. Only disadvantage is that if you leave it in a drawer for a while you have to set the time again. It's nice and slim though.
One day we went to Ueno Park. It was quite pretty there were a few shrines.
And some monuments.
Most of the park was a big lake, absolutely covered in lily pads.
And there were some fish in the water, there were actually quite big.
I thought this was cute. It was a guy visiting the park patting a stray cat.
Then we went to the Imperial Gardens. It was a shame though because the actual Imperial Palace is only open two days in a year and we weren't there on those days.
This is on a boat, a replica of a Swiss boat in fact, on Lake Ashi. It was spectacular. With occasional foggy views of Mount Fuji.
This is the view of the main street in Harajuku. Busy.
