I watched Funny Games last night. It was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. So little dialogue yet you still knew exactly what the characters were thinking. It really was one of the most intense movies I have ever seen. And it is so unbelievably clever.

This version (2007) is a shot by shot remake of the 1997 original, which was Austrian but directed by the same person, Michael Haneke.

The opening and closing song is Hellraiser written by John Zorn and performed by Naked City.
