SIRIUS

Continuing on the sci-fi theme, my Mum owns these Sirius sci-fi novels. She has over 200 of them and has been collecting them for ages.  From what I can gather they used to come out every three months and would have an average of ten short sci-fi stories by different authors inside. The authors would be from a range of different countries.

So I've featured here some of my favourite covers from the collection. They're pretty awesome. I've tried to figure out who the illustrations are by, but I might be wrong. On a lot of them it says the images were obtained from the VPA? I have no idea what that might be.

Hi, if You would like to know about the "Sirius" magazine, feel free to contact me. I am a collector myself, unfortunately it is not in print anymore for a long time already...
VPA means "Vjesnikova Press Agencija" (Press Agency of Vjesnik - which is a newspaper from Zagreb)and it's been a croatian newspaper/magazine company. I suppose Your mother is originary from Croatia or somewhere else from former Yugoslavija...

Would be very glad if there were a possibility to contact Your mother to find out if she has any doubles to sell or even better to change!...

Feel free to let Her/You write me on the following address:
